Visionary, bridge-builder, teacher, healer, musician, and Earth ally, Shine is devoted to cultivating flow state, human transformation, and life-force energy. He is the founder of World Peace Tribe, Peace Sticks, School of the Peaceful Ninja, and Shining Lion Music—initiatives created to support connection, collaboration, and harmony with life.
 

Shine is a devoted father of two and holds a deep commitment to children and future generations. He earned an honors degree in Biology, with minors in Psychology, Philosophy, and Spanish, from the University of San Diego. His choice to study biology emerged from a lifelong desire to help bridge humanity with the natural world.
 

Raised in a family deeply connected to plants, trees, and wilderness, Shine spent his childhood backpacking through the Sierras and beyond, learning directly from the land and wildlife. Influenced by Native American teachings that regard animals and plants as kin, he came to understand that many of humanity’s challenges stem from a sense of separation from nature. This realization shaped his personal mission: to foster love, respect, and relationship between humans and the living Earth.

Just before graduating university, Shine experienced a life-changing moment in Ojai, California, when two Elders performed an energy healing on his younger sister, who had been gravely ill for over a year. Her recovery opened a new field of possibility and marked a turning point in Shine’s life path.
 

Carrying surfboards and instruments, Shine set out on a global journey to learn from ancient cultures about movement, healing, shamanism, and Earth-based wisdom. He has traveled to over 15 countries, speaks several languages, and has trained with masters of Taoism, Yoga, Capoeira, and Indigenous shamans from the Americas, Africa, Hawaii, and Indonesia. His studies include Chi Gung and Tai Chi Sword with Chinese Martial Arts Grand Master Zhou, and Earth Wisdom with the Council of Indigenous Grandmothers.
 

The spontaneous creation of Peace Sticks with his brother opened a new way for people to meet in collaboration, rhythm, and flow. As Shine continued to develop the methodology, his diverse learning naturally synthesized into a transformational experience designed to awaken primal life-force energy. These practices draw from ancient tribal wisdom and focus on healing, community, and reconnection to our true nature and the Earth.
 

Shine is a Holistic Life Coach, Therapist, and instructor of Yoga, Meditation, Chi Gung, Energy Healing, Sound Therapy, Peaceful Communication, and Adventure Therapy. His work with Peace Sticks has supported drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs, corporate team building, professional athletes, at-risk youth, and educational communities.
 

Together with the tribe, Shine has shared teacher trainings, transformational retreats, and Peace Ceremonies around the world, collaborating with local communities to craft Peace Sticks and create Eco Peace Centers.
 

At the heart of all his work is a simple devotion: weaving a world culture of vitality, belonging, and peace.
